Look closer at the cabinets

Not a single cabinet matches another as they’re all different sizes, designs and woods. You decide to look through one at random and find an incomplete set of mareia pieces, a dusty black bow with a dark blue stone set in silver at its centre, a book on alchemy and a big glass jar filled with dead baby chickens preserved in some yellowing liquid. Of all these things the book is the only thing that seems remotely interesting to you so you try to pull it out. There’s a small click, and a small wooden knob pops out the side of the cabinet. With curiosity running wild you grab onto it, but should you push or pull?
